A cycle finished properly. Not merely stopping — arriving, with the sense of a thing being whole.
The World is completion and wholeness: a cycle finished, a goal achieved and a sense that everything has come together. It describes success, fulfillment and often travel or a wider horizon. The end of one journey is the start of the next.
An ending that will not quite complete. Loose threads, or a finish line moved just before you reached it.
Reversed, completion is delayed: loose ends, a lack of closure or feeling one step away from finishing. It can also mean taking shortcuts that undermine the result.

The World is card XXI, seventh of the seven in the row that runs from the Devil (XV) to the World (XXI).

The World signals completion, achievement and integration — a cycle successfully finished, often with travel or a sense of wholeness. Reversed, it points to loose ends that stop you moving on.
Upright, a fulfilling, complete relationship — commitment, marriage or a long-awaited milestone. Reversed, something unfinished holding a relationship back.
They feel complete and content with you, and see you as part of their whole future.
A cycle finished properly. Achievement, completion, and the pause before the next thing. A goal reached, a project completed successfully, or opportunities abroad.
Wholeness. The body and the rest of life in reasonable agreement.
Yes. Upright it counts as a yes in a yes-or-no spread; reversed, it leans toward no, usually as a “not yet” rather than a flat no. Most of the major arcana give the same answer: 12 of the 22 say yes. Next to it in the sequence, Judgement says yes.
