Calm after upheaval. Quiet confidence rather than excitement — the sense that things will be all right, arriving without evidence.
The Star is hope after hardship: healing, renewal and faith in the future. It often follows the Tower — the storm is over and recovery has begun. The card describes calm, inspiration and a sense that things will be all right.
Discouragement, or hope placed in something that cannot carry it.
Reversed, hope dims: discouragement, lost faith or feeling disconnected from what inspires you. It is usually temporary.
