The visible spectrum runs from about 380 nanometres to 750 — violet at the short end, red at the long one. Every colour in that range can be produced by one frequency of light. Pink cannot. There is no wavelength for pink: the eye receives red and blue together with no green between them, and the brain produces a colour to represent that combination. The same is true of magenta, which sits where green would be if the spectrum were a circle.
Others fail for different reasons. White is every wavelength at once, black is none, grey is all of them dimmed equally. Gold and silver are not hues but reflections — surface properties, not light. Brown only exists in contrast: the same light that reads brown against a pale background reads orange against black.
This does not disprove anything about auras. A colour can be perceptually real and physically constructed at the same time — pink is not an illusion, it is a genuine perception with no single frequency behind it. What it does mean is that a claim to see a pink aura is a claim about perception, not about detectable light, and that distinction is one no site in this subject makes.

What aura photography captures
Kirlian photography, invented in 1939, records corona discharge — an electrical effect around an object in a high-voltage field. It varies with moisture, pressure and voltage, which is why a freshly washed hand photographs differently from a dry one.
Modern aura cameras do something else entirely: hand sensors measure skin conductance and temperature, and software assigns colours according to a lookup table someone chose. The colours are generated, not photographed — which is why the same person can get different results on two machines.
No study under controlled conditions has found anyone able to see or detect an aura. That does not make the colour vocabulary worthless as a way of describing mood — it just means it is describing, not measuring.
