Its age is worth stating plainly: the Destiny Matrix was assembled in the 2010s. The Tarot imagery it borrows is centuries older, and the two are frequently conflated in marketing that implies an ancient pedigree the method does not have.

Where the schools disagree

The main square — day, month, year, their sum and the centre — is consistent everywhere. The diagonals and the purpose lines are not: different teachers combine the corners differently, and there is no authority to settle it.

The version calculated here uses month plus foundation for the sky line and day plus talents for the earth line, with purpose as their sum. If you have seen a different result elsewhere, that is why — and neither calculation is more correct than the other.

Reading it usefully

The centre carries the most weight; the corners qualify it. The most productive way to read a chart is to look for contradictions between points rather than adding up the descriptions, since a chart that agrees with itself everywhere is telling you very little.
