Destiny matrix lines

Three values, not one. The sky point combines the vertical axis — month and foundation — and is read as what the paternal line hands down. The earth point does the same for the horizontal axis, day and year, and is read as the maternal inheritance. Purpose is those two combined.

Because purpose is built from all four corners by way of the axes, it is the least individual value in the chart: many birth dates converge on the same one. That is worth knowing before treating it as a personal calling.

It sits inside the chart rather than on its edge. Two keys run inward — one from the foundation, one from the talents corner — and where they meet is the crossing point. Add the crossing point to the lower key and you have the love line.

⚠️ Different schools place this point differently, and some do not use it at all. We build it the way the canonical construction does and say so, rather than presenting one school's version as the only one.

Both lines therefore share a parent value, which means they move together: charts with a strong crossing point produce related love and money arcana rather than independent ones. No published guide mentions this, and it follows directly from the arithmetic.

The four corners of the square are the ancestral positions: paternal at the top-left, maternal at the bottom-left, with the two right-hand corners carrying what each line passes on. Along each diagonal run three intermediate values, computed by adding the corner to the centre and repeating.

All of it comes from the birth date alone — no parental dates are involved, despite the naming. Two siblings born on different days get different ancestral lines from the same parents, which is the plainest possible demonstration of what the method is actually measuring.
