A painful ending or rock bottom. It is over — which also means the worst has passed.
The Ten of Swords is a painful ending: hitting rock bottom, betrayal or a situation that is definitely over. The dawn on the horizon says it cannot get worse. It is the end of a cycle that has been ending for a while — nothing more can be lost here.
Recovery beginning, or refusing to let an ending be final.
Reversed, recovery: getting back up, regeneration and learning from the fall. Old wounds begin to close and the story can move on.
