The Three of Wands is expansion and foresight: plans are underway and you are watching for the results to arrive. It describes growth, opportunities abroad and the confidence that comes from having already made the first moves.
Delays in expected returns, obstacles to growth, or plans that were not thought through far enough.
Reversed, progress stalls: delays, obstacles to long-term plans, or disappointment that things are taking longer than hoped. It can also mean a lack of foresight.
