What a dream book said in 1862

The Golden Wheel Dream-Book, under “Panther”
“To dream that you see one of these animals, and are terrified by it, shows that you will be disgusted at the ingratitude of a friend you have served: if, in your dream, you see a tame panther, and caress it, it foretells that you have some ungrateful person in your household, (perhaps a servant,) or else a false-hearted friend.”
