Why Pisces gets Aquamarine and Amethyst

Pisces is a water sign ruled by Jupiter and, in the modern scheme, by Neptune, god of the sea — so aquamarine, named for seawater, is the natural choice. Sailors carried it for a calm passage, and it is linked to steady nerves and gentle communication, a help for a sign that absorbs everyone's moods.
