“To dream you see angels in your sleep, is a sign some are near you, and that the rest of your dream will come to pass. To see many angels, is a sign of many children, and much prosperity.”

Like other American dream books of its time, Fontaine read dreams as omens and attached lottery numbers to them; under “Angel” it printed 16, 8, 24. Today’s dream dictionaries still echo readings like this one.
