What a dream book said in 1862

The Golden Wheel Dream-Book, under “Monkey”
“To dream that you see a monkey, and are pleased with his antics, shows that you will make the acquaintance of a fool. For a girl to dream of playing with a monkey is a sign she will do something she is ashamed of, and perhaps lose her virtue. Monkeys are also a sign of law suits and secret enemies.”
