Crown chakra
The Crown chakra (Sahasrara) is the 7th of the seven, at the top of the head. Its colour is violet or white, its element thought and its seed sound Silence. It governs meaning and connection to something larger.

Most guides describe only two states. The system actually names three, and the third is the one people miss — a chakra can be too open as easily as too closed, and the symptoms look nothing alike.

Disconnection from the body, spiritual superiority, using meaning to avoid ordinary life.

Food and colour
Fasting is traditional here — the crown is associated with taking in less, not more.
Worth being plain: none of this has been shown to affect anything measurable. What it reliably does is give you a reason to move, eat deliberately and sit still — and those three do have evidence behind them, whatever the framing.
