Citrine sits at 7 or above, so dust will not scratch it. The other 4 dip below quartz, so dust slowly dulls their polish.
Money stones are typically kept in a wallet, a cash drawer or on a desk where finances are handled, as a cue to deal with money deliberately — to check the balance, send the invoice or hold off an impulse buy.
Wealth is built by spending less than you earn, paying off expensive debt and investing consistently over time. A stone on the desk can work as a habit trigger for those actions; no stone attracts money by itself.
Most "citrine" on the market is heat-treated amethyst, and pyrite can release sulfur compounds when damp, so keep it dry and wash your hands after handling rough pieces.
